Staggering number of Chinese invade the Mexican/US Border
Wednesday, October 7th, 2009As has been reported in all of the major news services, illegal immigrants sneaking into our country across our southern borders, are down dramatically. At least, the “reported” numbers are down. The reported
number of illegals crossing from the Mexican border in Nogales, AZ, are down 24% for the year. However, a dramatic new development has everyone scratching their heads……Chinese are making a run for the border. Crossing from Mexico to here.
The Border Patrol Headquarters in Tuscon, reports 261 illegal Chinese immigrants processed though the first 10 months of this year. If you compare that to an average annual number of 36 per year, that’s over a 700% increase and we are only though 3 quarters.
What is driving it you ask? Money. The average illegal immigrant from China will incur as much as $70,000 in debt just to make the trip to cross the border. Compare that cost with that of a Mexican $1,500, Central or South American $6,000 or a Haitian paying as much as $20,000.
Very few Chinese arrive with any money or contacts let alone with enough to cover their smuggling fees. Most will end up working in a sweat shop or and the steam room of a restaurant in a major city. However, many will be forced to work in prostitution houses or commit other criminal acts for the Asian gangs that control them.
While Chinese crossing at the Mexican border sounds more like a punch line to a joke rather than a legitimate problem, after all who really cares what nation our illegal immigrant kitchen help comes from, the implication could be staggering. There may be more to the exponential growth in Chinese immigrant crossing the Mexican border besides, cheap help.
In recent years the Chinese have been flexing their muscle as they have begun to take their place among the world powers. During the Clinton years, they were caught stealing many of our nuclear secrets. During the Bush years their military was on the Mexican side of our border performing “Joint Military Exercises” with Mexico. Most recently, they have been part of an international movement to move the dollar off of it’s top spot as the world’s oil currency. Remember they already hold much of our debt and have been accused of manipulating the dollars value. Just this week, they have cut back on the exports of rare earths to the
US, which are used in the manufacture of our high tech power generation equipment.
All of this and many other recent incident could mean nothing. However, what if it is more than just an attempt to take their place on the world stage? What if they are a government bent on gathering as much information on our country to leap past us? In my opinion, it does not matter if it is simple corporate espionage or something of greater national importance, our borders are being crossed by those with more on their minds than picking our fruit or mowing our lawns. We need a strong border, we need a strong border guard and we need an administration that cares about our security.
We can no longer accept from our government that open borders are a good thing. Republicans and Democrats both have championed opening up the borders to everyone and in the short term, we have seen border violence explode, as the Mexican Drug cartels have moved in. Now, we are facing something that could be much more nefarious, the expanding theft of our corporate and security secrets. As far as I am concerned, the long term potential harm of not addressing this issue, far out weighs any of the non-issues that the Obama drive to socialism now has us on.
For more information on the national threat from the Chinese spy network Google the term Chinese spies or Chinese spy. The number of incidents is staggering.

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009Major police raid targets L.A.’s notorious Avenues gang
Hundreds of police officers and federal law enforcement agents launched a major assault on the Avenues gang this morning, hoping to deal a blow to an elusive group they say is responsible for some of Los Angeles’ most notorious street crime. Under the cover of darkness around 3 a.m., roughly 1,200 heavily armed officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and several other agencies dispersed from a command post near the LAPD’s training academy in Elysian Park.
Warrants in hand, they descended on dozens of homes in search of 53 alleged members or associates of the Avenues gang wanted on an array of federal charges related to extensive drug dealing, unsolved murders and other crimes.
Forty-three suspects already are in custody on unrelated charges. The operation was aimed to bring new charges against 88 Avenues members or associates, a significant share of a gang that is believed to have about 400 members. Some suspects were sought elsewhere in the city, but the sweep focused on Glassell Park and other neighborhoods in the northeastern reaches of Los Angeles — the center of Avenues territory since the gang first surfaced in the 1950s.
There were no reports of officers encountering armed resistance. San Bernardino sheriff’s officers say they shot two aggressive dogs they encountered at one location.
It was not immediately clear how many of the suspects had been found at their homes and taken into custody. The names of the suspects and the crimes they were accused of also were not immediately known, pending the unsealing of the indictments.
The arrests culminated a yearlong investigation of the gang run by a unit of LAPD detectives that specializes in gang-related homicides and a DEA task force.
The Avenues came under scrutiny in the wake of the August 2008 slaying of Juan Abel Escalante, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy. Escalante, 27, was gunned down outside of his parents’ Cypress Park home early in the morning as he headed to work as a guard at the Men’s Central Jail.

Study: Immigration duties undermine police role…….of what? Keeping citizens safe?
Friday, May 22nd, 2009PHOENIX (Reuters)
Reporting by Tim Gaynor, Editing by Paul Simao
A U.S. government program empowering local police officers to enforce immigration laws undermines their efforts to maintain public safety, according to a report released on Wednesday.
Around 11.9 million mostly Hispanic illegal immigrants live and work in the United States, and Americans are sharply divided over what to do with them.
The report by the nonpartisan Police Foundation criticized aspects of the 287 (g) program run by the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which deputizes officers from local police agencies to enforce immigration laws.
The study, drawing on input from focus groups and police and community representatives, argued that the program created mistrust between local police and immigrant communities.
“The cornerstone of the police operation is public safety, and that is eroded significantly when people are afraid of the police,” Hubert Williams, the president of the Police Foundation, said by telephone.
“Immigration enforcement (by local agencies) … has simply caused people to run and hide. They won’t talk to the police,” he added.

Gee I wonder why the illegal immigrants distrust the police? Could it be because of the word illegal? If they were not here and if we did not have to deal with their crime, the border states jails populations would be reduced by over 30% and our police force could go back to enforcing laws and investigating our home grown crimes. The Police Foundation could go back to mapping crime areas and get out of politics. Not to mention that the state budgets that have been in the news so much of late would be much closer to being balanced.
If Obama or any other politician wants my vote move the illegals out of our country and do away with Anchor Baby laws.

It is past time that our government start listening to it’s citizens. We don’t want Illegals in our country period. That does not mean we are unreasonable. We understand there is a need or a guest worker program, they key being “guest worker”. We do not want their children to be considered Citizens of the US when the parents are here illegally or on a guest visa. We do not want to provide Free health care, education or government assistance. We are not mean, hateful or uncaring….. we simply cannot afford it any longer. If you don’t believe me ask someone living in CA.
Sleep Tight America, Chuck Schumer Says the Borders Are Safer
Wednesday, May 20th, 2009Chuck Schumer said that the number of people captured between Oct. 1, 2008 and May 15 this year was down 27 percent from the same period the previous year.
Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer cited reports from the Customs and Border Protection officials saying that most of the decrease has been in the number of people taken into custody as they tried to illegally enter the U.S. along the border with Mexico.
The New York senator said the lower demand for labor in the U.S. and stepped-up border enforcement measures are behind the decrease.
“The border is far more secure than it’s ever been,” Schumer said.
The Obama administration has promised to increase border security even more on the southern border to crack down on border violence and work with Mexican authorities against drug cartels. Hundreds of federal agents, along with high-tech surveillance gear and drug-sniffing dogs, are being deployed to the Southwest.

I have to raise my hand on this on and call BS. I am pretty sure that this report is right up there with the reports that stated hundreds oops, no thousands of Mexican workers were going back across the border because of our poor economy and that 90% of the Mexican guns came from the US.
Note the phrase that Schumer uses, “take into custody”. If you tell the agents (ICE) that they cannot take people into custody and that you can no longer deport people found in raids……then sure the number drops. “The borders are far more secure than they have ever been”,certainly he not making that statement based the false data he used, is he? As a hack for his party, you don’t think he is trying to down play the illegal immigration problem so that amnesty will be pushed through, do you? Or perhaps he is still responding to all of the criticism the administration took for not closing the border from the swine flu outbreak. No matter his reason, it is political spin at its worst.
