As for the border being more secure, we have nearly doubled the number of BP agents along the border and increased the use of several technologies that make them more efficient. The same can be said for the Ports of Entry. As an officer that has been working along the southern border for 11 years enforcing our immigration laws, I can unequivocally state, that the border is more secure today then ever before!
